Guideline has developed a specialized process for realtors

Turnkey claims management

Transparently increase the value of every listing at no cost and with near zero time investment.

Start the process

Share your full portfolio of listing addresses with us and we'll get started with our analysis

Storm dates

We will review all addresses for recent storms with hail measuring 1" or larger and wind gusts over 45 MPH

Ground inspection

We will make visits to all listings that cross the thresholds and make a visual inspection from the ground.

For occupied listings, we will provide an informational page you can share with the owners to explain the process.

We will provide photographs with initial documentation of any storm damage to the roof and any evidence of hail impacts on downspouts, screens, and window frames.

Sign a contingency agreement

Based on any damage found, if there is indication that the damage may warrant a claim, the homeowner gives us authorization to pursue a claim on their behalf.

Signing a contingency agreement makes us the contractor of record on the claim and we will take it from there, handling all interactions with the insurance company, the homeowner merely has to redirect all emails and phone calls to us.

Full inspection

We will conduct a professional full roof inspection, wearing protective shoes, and document all damage found in comprehensive detailed photographs.

Open claim

We will call in the claim to the insurance company.

The homeowner may have to join a three-way call to confirm the claim.

We will provide thorough evidence of damage to the insurance company.

New Roof!

We do not open claims unless the damage meets or exceeds industry guidelines for a legitimate claim. If we open the claim, we will see it through to completion.

We will manage all interactions with the insurance company, the homeowner does not need to be present for any adjuster meetings, just forward all communications from the insurance company to us.

We will shepherd the claim through to completion, even up to and including taking the insurance company to court if necessary to get legitimate claims approved.

Update your listing!

Update your listing with "New roof pending! Insurance claim in process."

Add deductible to closing

Include the insurance deductible in closing if the home sells before the claim is approved or the new roof is complete.

    How long will this take?

    Best Case

If all goes well, on each individual claim, your client's insurance company will recognize the damage and extend full coverage and the home will have a new roof in 21-30 days.

    Most Typically

The insurance company will try to delay and minimize coverage and we will have to work with them to prove the damage more extensively until it's fully approved.

    Worst Case

The insurance company refuses to honor the policy and we involve our public adjuster partners to pave the way for taking them to court, at no cost to the homeowner.

We have never lost on a claim with legitimate damage, as long as the home owner lets us guide the process and take it to the finish line, including going to court if necessary.

In those cases, insurance companies settle right before the court date almost without exception.
